Strategic Planning Analyst
Job Purpose
The Strategic Planning Analyst will support the business in the development and optimisation of the capacity planning framework for Global Operations. You will develop networks within our SBUs and engage and network with senior stakeholders such as the Customer Experience Directors, leaders and operational readiness teams to evaluate capacity. Supporting delivery of the commercial and operational agendas at a low cost via value add planning insight. This includes; analysis of our supplier base, geographical footprint, technology capacity, desk capacity and operational resource capacity.
The overall purpose of this role is to bring a holistic and meaningful view of Global Operation and Business Performance.
The main accountabilities and approximate time split will be as follows:
process and define and manage the Global Change Agenda to achieve alignment with both the Commercial and Global Strategies (50%):
Set Strategic Framework for Operational Readiness Planning teams, including Recruitment & Development strategy, Service Proposition & Delivery (Gold, Silver, Bronze), Stakeholder Management process, Evaluate Team Performance & Best Practices (40%):
Provide Leadership (10%):
Technical Skills/Competencies/Knowledge
Experience of strategic problem solving in a global business
Ability to influence Senior Executive Stakeholders
Communications including presentations, negotiation and influencing
Commercial, financial and business acumen
Deep knowledge of Resource Planning processes, Team Development, models, and execution
Ability to analyze data and provide relevant and innovative insight, including prediction of trends; articulate and present insight to Senior Business stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of retail financial services Strategy, Operating Structure / Interfaces / business processes and product set
Knowledge of Group structures and interfaces
Knowledge of Control Management and Corporate Governance
Knowledge of Business Disciplines (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT)
Knowledge of Supplier management frameworks both on and offshore
Ability to influence and build constructive relationships with any level in any team

Graduate calibre
Blue chip corporate background preferred
Understanding of building and leading high volume, high complexity planning, scheduling, and intraday teams
